Our Programs
Alathia programs operate in a team environment with cross-discipline support from our stable, maintenance and equine assisted facilitator teams.
We offer both group and individual sessions dependent on need and availability.
Our programs run for 1.5 hours each week for four weeks, focusing on a different learning objective each session.
Programs begin with a safety briefing and demonstration. Clients are placed in a team of two participants with one horse and facilitator. We form a connection between the client and horse to facilitate engagement from all team members.
Teams then complete a series of activities and challenges in the arena before returning the horse to their stable and reflecting on the experience.
Safety is the number one priority at all times.

Why Horses
Horses are honest and don’t judge, therefore every client is free to learn and experience growth in themselves through the connection with their horse.
Horses provide immediate feedback to their environment, including us! We work with them and learn how to read their body language.
The horse becomes part of the team as they learn to trust the other team members. This often requires self awareness on behalf of the clients and sometimes, an unlearning of set behaviours in order to connect and communicate.
We offer an equine assisted learning program and understand the exciting and amazing growth that can come when learning from, and connecting with, horses.
